The iPod Touch series became a must-have in the yuppie market almost as soon as it was released.

This touch screen iPod with an extremely sleek set of features and a design that even James Bond would kill for became an instant hit.

And Apple has cleverly kept the brand name in the reckoning through fantastic advertisements and the recent release of the 32 GB version iPod Touch, which can store 25,000 photos or 40 hours of video.

Come to think of it, even if you saved the family photos of all your school friends from their childhood to adulthood, this humongous iPod Touch would still have space left over!

The iPod Touch is a steal, but let us see how much of a steal it really is.

There are three versions of the iPod Touch available currently - the older versions of 8 GB and 16 GB and the recently released version of 32 GB.

These three are priced at $299, $399 and $499 in the market. That's cheaper than the iPhone... the lowest version is... but it is still higher than your budget of a $290.

Anyway, just look at what you are getting even with the lowest iPod Touch... the 8 GB version. You can save as many as 1,750 songs, 10,000 photos and up to 10 hours of video.

These are the individual capacities, or you can have a little of everything. This is also like a phone that works on the Wi-Fi technology.

You have Bluetooth. You can connect to the iTunes store without any physical connection needed, and soon you will be able to connect to the Apple store too.

You will need a computer at the outset to configure the iPod touch, but after that it is almost totally computer independent.

This is the iPod Touch version that qualifies as your best buy iPod Touch under two hundred and ninety dollars. Or at least with a few dollars extra! But you are getting a very good deal.

Just an advice - there are some scammers on the Internet with duplicate versions of the iPod Touch which they are selling at well under $200.

Okay, don't say I didn’t warn you. Now you can make your choice.
