You are a genius, I thought I had downloaded iTunes 7... I didn't have to reset, everything came up as was
on it when it crashed.
I cannot thank you enough for not giving up, this one had sentimental value that you cannot believe and they
do not make the black nanos anymore.
I tried everything on the internet, and you are the only one that replied and kept at it until you solved the
problem.
Thank you.

Wow Daniel! What a fantastic service. I really didn't expect such a prompt response, if at all. And
thanks for your advice. I certainly will be downloading from the sites you have listed. We are bathing in
summer heat here, whilst I guess you are sheltering from the approaching winter. As a student it is not
unusual to work through the night and I must say, how fantastic it is to have music all night. And such excellent
quality sound too. So thrilled to have iPod up and running!
Thanks again.
Ciao

Black iPod Nano 8GB Third Generation Review by Daniel Dwase...
Thin, classy, and fully loaded, the iPod nano is a great deal for a flash-based MP3 player.
This is an amazingly slim Black iPod nano which features a lively color LCD display, 24 hour battery life and a few other tweaks to result in an astonishing black iPod MP3 player.
Apple has slimmed down the iPod mini further to the width of a pencil and changed the micro-HDD with NAND flash memory, employed 1.5" color LCD and named it iPod nano.
The nano is one of the smallest players available in the market today. Regardless of the slim factor, at 8GB the iPod Nano has more than any other flash player and when compared to other MP3 players it has the same storage capacity but packaged nearly one third or even less than the sizes of other players.
Let's take a look...
iPod Nano in black color follows the tradition of the iPod; the iPod nano's covering is very smooth, comprehensive with smoothed edges and no bolts or protruding parts with the exception of the hold switch.
The shining metal covering of iPod slickly transitions into the acrylic face of the Nano and you can see your reflection. In a nutshell, the iPod Nano is beautiful.
The joystick control calls for using it in a single direction and based on timing as opposed to sensitivity although it is also touch sensitive, require lifting your thumb frequently for clear-cut scrolling.
The brighter picture quality with most pixels stirs up the visual effect outside in. The Click Wheel feature to adjust the volume, navigation facility between the songs; to check out the Music menu by song, genre, composer, play list, artist, album are the general features available.
Music on the iPod Nano sounds dazzling and volume can be adjustable with thump run with the equalizer off, the treble is fine and definite and the bass is profound, with sufficient room for the midtones. It can hold up to 2000 songs, 24 hours of music playback and 5 hours video playback.
The earbud headphones are quite comfy with the earbud covers and it's even intact while jogging.
A world clock shows over twenty different time zones at once, each with separate alarm clock and sleep timer settings. Other special features particular to the iPod Nano includes a stopwatch that saves the data and lap times of each session.
The iPod Nano comes with games like Vortex, iQuiz, and Klondike. The calendars and personal contacts can be automatically synchronized using iTunes from Address Book, PC users from Outlook Express and Outlook and iCal on the Mac.
When you buy your black iPod nano and open the box, you will find ear bud headphones, AC adapter, USB 2.0 cable, a quick start guide and of course your stunningly new iPod nano.
But this is just the beginning...
You can further stylishly dress your new buy black iPod nano through thrilling and colorful accessories in the form of vibrant socks and armbands, functional universal dock and remote, composite and component AV cables, an amazing range of speakers, and other cool extras.
So what makes the black iPod nano so compelling?...
It's the design.
Over and over again Apple has taken attempts to craft an attractive user interface, aesthetically satisfying hardware, and luxury features they don't bother putting on paper.
In brief, the iPod nano is a very slim player with an interface done right. The 24 hour battery life is remarkable, audio is rich with deep bass, photos are vibrant, and there are a few games to waste time even outside exam hall.
