Grado Headphones

Headphones have been around for quite some time now. Earlier seen mostly in the recording studio, they are now practically everywhere.

All headphones use Grado's vented diaphragm technology that incorporates a large air chamber.

The chamber has dynamic transducers, open-air, "circled" 40mm driver-oriented supra-aural earcups, an Impedance of 32 ohms, and a Sensitivity level of 98 dB.

The one exception is the iGrado which has 30mm drivers.

The Professional, Statement, Reference Series along with the Prestige Series SR325, SR225 and SR125, feature voice-coils that are wound from ultra-high purity, long crystal (UHPLC) oxygen-free copper which is responsible for the smoother, cleaner and more dynamic sound reproduced by the headphones.

In addition, all the headphones use very high power neodymium magnets to provide maximum efficiency and better sound.

The Statement and Reference series offer handcrafted wooden headphones that optimize the tonal quality and provide improved control and stability of the upper and lower range of the frequency spectrum and extraordinary midrange.

This is achieved by the use of upgraded dynamic transducers and a new 8-conductor cable design.

All headphones are equipped with comfortable earpads, suitable for extended listening sessions.

They have the capability to reproduce a perfectly natural soundstage from stereo recordings and give even a good set of speakers a run for their money.

The sonic output is free of room effects and placement problems, and interference from external noise is negligible.
