Help Downloading Itunes

When I go to download Itunes, the first pop-up comes up where you say to run or save (the security warning). I have tried saving and running. Once it has finished downloading on that pop-up, the next pop-up comes up with the run or don't run buttons. I chose run, but then that box disappears and the old one is still up and saying verifying itunes setup. That box changes its name from verifying itunes setup to file download. The box disappears and then I see if it downloaded, but its like I didn't download it. Why isn't it working?? Help Please.

summer heat here, whilst I guess you are sheltering from the approaching winter. As a student it is not
unusual to work through the night and I must say, how fantastic it is to have music all night. And such excellent
quality sound too. So thrilled to have iPod up and running!
