How can I restore my ipod?

Question: How can I restore my iPod without deleting all the songs as well? Answer: There is no method in iTunes which you can use to save deleting your data but you can use a third party computer transfer program to copy the songs from your iPod to your computer. There are many such software's available from lot of vendors which allows you to copy all your data from your iPod to computer. One such software is ShapePod. Once you have done that then you can just restore your iPod and re-sync it with the copied data again. In case you are using the iPod on more than one computer, then set the iPod to "manually manage songs and playlists"(Edit > Preference > Device > Disable the auto sync for all iPod and iPhone) and this will keep it from automatically synchronising with iTunes and erasing all of the songs on the iPod.
