How can I sync with a new PC?
by Jan Molyneux
Question: My i-pod has been sync-ed with a Mac which I no longer have. I want to sync with my new PC and keep the existing content of my i-pod. How do I get my i-pod to speak to my pc? Answer: Hi Jan, First of all you need to copy the content of your iPod onto your computer because if you sync it with your PC all content will be deleted. I use a software called SharePod to copy songs off my iPod (it's free!) When you have finished backing up your content open iTunes and connect your iPod to your computer and iTunes will automatically ask you if you want to sync your iPod with your PC. Hope this helps. Testimonials...
You are a genius, I thought I had downloaded iTunes 7... I didn't have to reset, everything came up as was
on it when it crashed.
I cannot thank you enough for not giving up, this one had sentimental value that you cannot believe and they
do not make the black nanos anymore.
I tried everything on the internet, and you are the only one that replied and kept at it until you solved the
problem.
Wow Daniel! What a fantastic service. I really didn't expect such a prompt response, if at all. And
thanks for your advice. I certainly will be downloading from the sites you have listed. We are bathing in
summer heat here, whilst I guess you are sheltering from the approaching winter. As a student it is not
unusual to work through the night and I must say, how fantastic it is to have music all night. And such excellent
quality sound too. So thrilled to have iPod up and running!
