You are a genius, I thought I had downloaded iTunes 7... I didn't have to reset, everything came up as was
on it when it crashed.
I cannot thank you enough for not giving up, this one had sentimental value that you cannot believe and they
do not make the black nanos anymore.
I tried everything on the internet, and you are the only one that replied and kept at it until you solved the
problem.
Thank you.

Wow Daniel! What a fantastic service. I really didn't expect such a prompt response, if at all. And
thanks for your advice. I certainly will be downloading from the sites you have listed. We are bathing in
summer heat here, whilst I guess you are sheltering from the approaching winter. As a student it is not
unusual to work through the night and I must say, how fantastic it is to have music all night. And such excellent
quality sound too. So thrilled to have iPod up and running!
Thanks again.

How to Use your iPod To Take Notes by Daniel Dwase ...
You no longer have to search for pen, pencil or paper when you want to jot down the name of the band and the song you just heard on the radio, take down notes of a recipe that you just saw on TV, driving directions or even remember the grocery list to bring home.
Notes is a program on your iPod that can read text files.
Your iPod can handle up to 1000 text files each, 4096 characters or 4 KB in size and using Notes it can display them one at a time on its screen.
1. To add the text files on your iPod it must be connected to your computer where it has been chosen to be used as a disk. Below is a diagram showing my iPod enabled as a disk
|
2. Ensure that the word processor that you use on your computer is capable of creating text files, files with the extention .txt. For example on the Windows PC the Notepad program can create text files with the extention .txt. For other programs ensure you save the file as a .txt file to create text file.
3. Create text files of your choice not exceeding 4096 characters in length.
|
4. Drop the files onto the iPod through the disk icon (iPod treated as disk) on the computer. On the Mac drop them in the Notes folder of the iPods disk.
|
5. To view your notes, unmount the iPod. Select Extras > Notes on your iPod. All the files transferred from the computer will be listed there. Choose the file you wish to view using the click wheel and select a file clicking the Center button and use the click wheel to scroll through the contents of the file.
6. To close the file and return to the Notes menu click the Menu button.
