My IPOD is corrupted...

Question:
iTunes and iPod are not communicating. Which means I can't sync any songs onto my IPOD. I have restored iTunes and iPod - and no luck.

My USB is fine. When I connect my iPod into my computer, it doesn't show up in iTunes, it shows up as a mass USB storage. I bought my iPod in January...it's fairly new. Can you help me?

Answer:
Download and install the latest version of iTunes... www.apple.com/itunes/download

After installation, connect your ipod to your computer and open iTunes.

Press and hold the "Select" and "Menu" buttons for 6-10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.

This will reset your iPod.
