By Daniel Dwase

Launched as part of Shure's new product lineup in 2007, the Shure SE210 earphones replace the E2C as Shure,s entry-level model.

Designed for on-the-go music lovers, it employs Hi-Definition MicroSpeaker technology to deliver an outstanding listening experience.

Using a single balanced armature driver to deliver exceptional clarity and depth, it helps you notice subtleties in your music you never noticed before.

Effectively using the earplug design for sound isolation rather than noise cancellation, the SE210's output is truly music to your ears.

Flex and foam sleeves of various sizes are provided with the earphones, letting you pick the most comfortable fit.

Once set, sound isolation is incredible. Keep in mind that sound isolation is around 90% and that makes this unsuitable for use in certain situations, while walking in traffic, for instance.

You may find that a fair bit of experimentation is required before finding the perfect fit that simultaneously cuts out background noise, improves bass response and maximizes comfort.

The SE210 is designed for use with devices such as CD players, MP3 players and iPods.

You may think the SE210 is a bit lacking in the style department compared to the less expensive E2C (the SE210 Is priced at $150 and the E2C at $99), a notion quickly forgotten once you plug them in and hear the superior sound quality.

Although primarily designed to provide full-range audio, the SE210 stands out with its optimal high frequency response and full bass. This versatility allows you to enjoy quite a wide range of musical genres.

A useful new feature in the SE210 is the Modular Cable – this allows you to vary the cable length based on the location of your music player.

A short cable is perfect for a small player on your armband or shirt pocket, while the 3-foot extension cable lets you connect to a player in your bag or trouser pocket.

In addition, a cable tension adjuster, now a standard feature with all Shure earphones, helps keep the cable in place no matter what activity you are undertaking.

The optional Shure Push-To-Hear module with a Voiceport microphone when connected to the Shure SE210 lets you hear surrounding sound while the sound-isolating earphones are still in your ears.

This is useful, for example, when you want to have a brief conversation.

A trendy nylon carrying case is part of the earphone's Deluxe Fit Kit and provides a tangle-free method of carrying your earphones anywhere.

The ergonomic and lightweight design of the Shure SE210 clearly scores over bulky noise cancellation headphones.

If you are looking for trendy earphones that deliver exceptional audio at a not too hefty price, the SE210 is for you.

Testimonials...
OMG!!!!!! This website helped me so much! I just got my first iPod yesterday and this helped alot.
SallyAnne, USA

You are a genius, I thought I had downloaded iTunes 7... I didn't have to reset, everything came up as was on it when it crashed. I cannot thank you enough for not giving up, this one had sentimental value that you cannot believe and they do not make the black nanos anymore. I tried everything on the internet, and you are the only one that replied and kept at it until you solved the problem.
Thank you.

Wow Daniel! What a fantastic service. I really didn't expect such a prompt response, if at all. And thanks for your advice. I certainly will be downloading from the sites you have listed. We are bathing in summer heat here, whilst I guess you are sheltering from the approaching winter. As a student it is not unusual to work through the night and I must say, how fantastic it is to have music all night. And such excellent quality sound too. So thrilled to have iPod up and running!
Thanks again.
Ciao
