|
Here at top tips for iPod video, you'll learn how to convert videos for your iPod FREE with Videora iPod converter...
Videora iPod converter is a free software that converts your videos to an iPod compatible format e.g. converting your PC videos... in MPEG and AVI... into AAC files compatible with your priced iPod video.
Although Videora iPod converter is free but developers encourage donations to help develop it better to a higher standard.
|
How to convert your videos using Videora iPod Converter
1. Download and install iPod converter http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/download.php (opens in new window).
|
Note: Make sure to install Videora files where they can be easily located. Like me I saved mine on my desktop for easy access.
2. Once you install the converter, open it and click 'Convert' located at the top left of Videora's interface.
There are three tabs under Convert. They are 'Video Wizard', 'Current Conversion', and 'Console'. Video Wizard lets you convert your videos stored on your computer.
It's an easy process to do without needing to know any computer jargons. This is just click and follow instructions.
|
3. Select your video file from where it's located on your computer. Mine is located in the folder 'iMesh' because that's where I save all my video files.
I would advice you to install all your video files in the 'My Videos' folder under 'My Document' for quick access.
|
4. Click 'Open' to open your selected folder and you'll be taken to 'Video Settings' where you setup your video output settings.
Here, you can play around and change the settings a bit.
I always leave the settings as they are and I recommend you do too, but hey, if you're someone who likes to explore, then go ahead and give it your best shot.
|
5. Click 'Next' and start converting. You are given the choice of editing the title of your video that will appear on your iPod.
|
6. Click 'Start Converting' at the bottom right-hand side of the Videora interface.
After clicking the 'Start Converting' button, you'll be taken to the 'Current Conversion' tab that shows you the progress of your video conversion.
Your videos will be automatically added to your iTunes library once the conversion process is complete.
|
7. Opens iTunes and sync your iPod to download your video conversion onto it.

OMG!!!!!! This website helped me so much! I just got my first iPod yesterday and this helped alot.

You are a genius, I thought I had downloaded iTunes 7... I didn't have to reset, everything came up as was
on it when it crashed.
I cannot thank you enough for not giving up, this one had sentimental value that you cannot believe and they
do not make the black nanos anymore.
I tried everything on the internet, and you are the only one that replied and kept at it until you solved the
problem.
Thank you.

Wow Daniel! What a fantastic service. I really didn't expect such a prompt response, if at all. And
thanks for your advice. I certainly will be downloading from the sites you have listed. We are bathing in
summer heat here, whilst I guess you are sheltering from the approaching winter. As a student it is not
unusual to work through the night and I must say, how fantastic it is to have music all night. And such excellent
quality sound too. So thrilled to have iPod up and running!
Thanks again.
Ciao
