Unable to get songs back on my IPOD

My original PC was acting up so I tried installing itunes on another PC and somehow now I cannot access my songs via my IPOD. I have deleted the software from the second PC as the original PC is now back in good working order.

The songs are in "my music" folder and I can play them on the PC. However, they are no longer on my IPOD. When I plug my IPOD in - I do not have the option to "upload" or "sync" to my IPOD.

It looks iTunes is not recognizing my IPOD. I also tried installing a more current version of Itunes but I keep receiving an error.
