Installing iTunes
To get your iPod up and running, the first step is to download and install the latest version of the iTunes software http://www.apple.com/itunes/download ... as always...make sure you’re connected to the internet.
After installing iTunes, you can connect your iPod to your computer using the USB cable (hint: do not connect iPod to computer before installing iTunes).
After the installation, you’ll be asked to restart your computer.
