WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO !!!!! You're a genius!!! I did manage to take a paper clip and soft paper towel and swirled it around the port and wah lah! I now have stereo again! Thank you so much! For a moment I thought I was going deaf in one ear!!! So, I guess I won't need a new Ipod after all. I'll just wait until the new Iphone comes out in July! Thank you it is my daughter who has the iPod nano. This is the first time we found this site EXCELLENT. As her iPod one other time would not work and it took days to figure out what happened. You are now on my desk top favorites.

Thanks to your web site I've found the information I needed to unlock my instrument. The screen had locked solid, and I was concenrned I'd have to send it back to the manufacturer to get it fixed. Super job, - thank you very much.

I just found your site. My daughter, just bought me my IPOD NANO for XMAS. She is determined to get me into this century. I will go over it more tomorrow, bedtime now. Do you charge for anything or is it all free. What a service you provide. Thank you in advance. They loaded about 500 songs onto it and I would like to delete some and add some more. My nano just froze and I followed your directions by holding down the Select and Menu -- it worked! It seems to need to drop some power before it picks up . . . weird. Since I'm a senior I'm used to things not working as I expect. I'm now delighted to know what a nano needs when it's frozen. Cheers Rose, USA |

Thanks so much for the information... I did download the new software, and let Windows and iPod do all the updates, etc. Then allowed it to do everything the first time. Did not see your note on the 6-10 seconds reset, but let it do everything normally. ...Works perfect... Would have been nice to have it work when I was on vacation but... I am now ready for the next vacation. Thanks again.

My iPod wouldn't turn on no matter WHAT I did... and I have ALOT of music on there and I was totally freaking out. Then I found the tip to hold down the center and menu buttons for a couple of seconds and... it worked!! I am SOOO thankful! You have no idea!!!! Emily, United States |

Wow Daniel! What a fantastic service. I really didn't expect such a prompt response, if at all. And thanks for your advice. I certainly will be downloading from the sites you have listed. We are bathing in summer heat here, whilst I guess you are sheltering from the approaching winter. As a student it is not unusual to work through the night and I must say, how fantastic it is to have music all night. And such excellent quality sound too. So thrilled to have iPod up and running!

I decided to copy all the iPod onto an external drive before I restore. This way I hope I will be able to put it back. I spoke to a mate at work and realised when he connected to his computer that I can access and play the iPod on the computer if I set sync to manual. This then let me add more music but I still want to restore so will go ahead. Your tutorials are very good. Thanks for the help. I'll pass on your web link to others. Thanks. Dennis Ward, Nigeria |

You are a genius, I thought I had downloaded iTunes 7 I didn't have to reset, everything came up as was on it when it crashed. I cannot thank you enough for not giving up, this one had sentimental value that you cannot believe and they do not make the black nanos anymore.
